AN AUDI driver flipped his car onto its roof after colliding with two parked vehicles in Westhoughton on Sunday.
Police investigating the man have confirmed he was unlicensed, had no insurance and failed a subsequent roadside drugs test.
The incident occurred at around 5pm on Hindley Road when the Audi collided with the two stationary vehicles causing one to crash into another car on a driveway.
He has now been arrested and taken to Wigan Police Station while officers await the results of a blood analysis test.
Both the driver and a passenger, who was sitting in the front seat of the vehicle, sustained minor injuries but were not taken to hospital.
PC Ashworth of the Specialist Operations Roads Policing team said: "Fortunately no one was seriously injured in this collision, the driver is currently under investigation while enquiries into how this collision occurred continue.
“This highlights the dangers of drug driving and how people's reactions and decision making can be affected.”
