Gorgeous - that's one word to describe Taylor Swift's performance last night.
Swift's shows are known to be impressive and fans expect the best but few were prepared for the powerhouse she brought to the Etihad last night.
She switches effortlessly between the initmate and stripped-back performances she does so well and the stomping dance hits that define the Reputation album.
The show opens with a reminder of the drama that followed Swift throughout last summer, drama that she turned on its head reclaiming the narrative and releasing a record-breaking album in November 2017.

Swift's performance is a sensory overload for fans who can quite literally feel the heat coming from her flamethrowers.
She bounces from hit to hit reminding the crowd of her country roots with timeless classic Love Story and a medley of her early repertoire.
In no time at all the stage is littered with snakes and dripping in gold and the audience is holding its breath, because while the drama might love Taylor they love the drama.
She even has her own 'tilted stage'.
Last night was the first time she has peformed in a UK stadium, she told the crowd she'd picked Manchester because she always had a great time playing for the city.
After her first trip out over the crowd in a fairy light-covered platform, she alights on one of two satellite stages launching into 2014-hit Shake It Off in a riot of confetti and colour.

She also paid a moving tribute to the city praising its strength in the aftermath of the terror attack in May last year.
She moved through the crowd to make it to the second satellite stage to wow with 1989-hit Style before donning a dress to sing, you guessed it, Dress.
These satellite performances really sell Swift's brand and the famed relationship she has with her fans. As the crowd rushes to be near her she invites them into her world and smiles warmly these are the moments that will stay with fans.
