BLAZE: Firefighters had to remove items from the home
FIREFIGHTERS had to be called after a blaze spread through the bedroom of a home in Daubhill.
Neighbours noticed smoke coming from the windows of the property, in Dijon Street, just after 1pm today.
Fire crews from Farnworth and Ramsbottom stations reached the scene around 1.30pm and found rooms upstairs in the building were on fire.
The residents of the home were out when the fire began and nobody was injured in the incident although the building was badly damaged.
It is not clear how the fire began.
