The incident took place outside Bolton train station, at the junction of Newport Street and Trinity Street, at about 9am.
Firefighters from Farnworth Fire Station attended and worked at the scene for about 20 minutes, making the area safe and directing traffic.
Police and ambulance also attended, but no one was injured in the crash.
Steve Coote, watch manager at Farnworth Fire Station, said: "We were called to the junction at about 10am.
"Everyone was fine. One of the gentlemen said he was thankful he was wearing his seatbelt."
