BOLTON Lions are aiming to give disabled people the chance to set sail.
The charitable organisation has presented Bolton Sailing Club with £2,500 towards a 'Sailability boat' with disability access.
The boat was launched at the sailing club's Regatta Day at Belmont by Lions President Jeff Hartley.
He explained that the Lions would organise an annual presentation of a memorial trophy for Sailability sailors in memory of lifelong member of Bolton Lions, Bill Laithwaite. Bill's family presented Bolton Sailing Club with the trophy.
