After electric sets from support acts Rak-Su and promising Australian newcomers Germein had the crowd suitably warmed up and ready it was time for the main event.
Little Mix took to the stage to a massive level of anticipation and an almost deafening chorus of cheers and screams from the crowd.
The four piece who won the 2011 series of X-Factor, and are now arguably the biggest girl band in the world, took control of the Macron from they moment they appeared onstage and did not let go until the encore was finished and the lights went off.
Every song was met with delight and elation by the packed out stadium and as the show went on and the band continued to belt out anthem after anthem the fan's enthusiasm did not waiver.
As we left the venue the grins on the faces of the departing audience told you just how much of an impression Little Mix had made on everyone there.
