A BOLTON MP is urging good causes to apply for their share of a £3 million funding pot.
The money has been raised by players of the People's Postcode Lottery to support projects helping local people.
Charities and community groups can get sums from £500 to £20,000 and should apply before the August 15 closing date.
Bolton North East MP David Crausby said: “There are so many excellent community projects in Bolton that could benefit from this chance to secure funding, get an initiative off the ground or expand the reach of a service.
"I’d strongly encourage them to visit the website, find out where their project could fit and get an application in.”

So far this year more than 350 projects across Great Britain have received funding from the People's Postcode Lottery and this is the last chance this year to apply.
