A RAMSBOTTOM social worker has been found not guilty of nine charges relating to disclosing information about children in care and their carers.
A jury at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court found 59-year-old Jacqueline McMillan of Brookbottom Close, Ramsbottom not guilty of eight counts of obtaining personal data relating to looked after children and their carers between October 30, 2015 and August 13, 2016, without the consent of the National Fostering Agency.
She was also found not guilty of one count of unlawfully disclosing data on August 13, 2016, when information was sent to an ex-employee of the NFA.
The trial started on Tuesday, August 7 and concluded this Tuesday.
