A FLAT fire in Westhoughton saw three people treated for smoke inhalation.
Fire engines were called to Bolton Road where one woman had managed to get herself out of the flat when they arrived.
Fire engines from Leigh, Atherton and Bolton responded to the fire in sheltered accommodation at about 7.15pm and had extinguished the fire in about half an hour.
Smoke from the fire is understood to have affected a number of neighbouring homes.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and the fire is still under investigation.
