A MAN has been charged in relation to a series of burglaries in Bromley Cross.

The incidents were reported to police and Mark Heathcote, aged 38, has been arrested and charged with two counts of burglary and one of robbery.

The Bolton branch of Greater Manchester Police has thanked residents for their co-operation.

On Facebook, a spokesman said: "In relation to incidents that were reported to us in the Bromley Cross area, a 38 year old male, Mark Heathcote, has been charged with two burglaries and a robbery and will be put before the next court.

"Thanks to members of the community who reported incidents to us and passed information."
