POLICE have called for help from several people seen filming an assault on their mobile phones.
The incident, which included an assault and a disturbance, occurred on Saturday at 5pm, in Harrowby Street Farnworth.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police say they have seen videos which show bystanders filming on their mobiles.
In a statement on Facebook, officers said: "We are investigating an assault and disturbance that took place on Harrowby Street, Farnworth, around 1700 yesterday, Saturday September 1.
"From reviewing the footage of the incident there were several people seen filming the incident with mobile phones. If you have captured any of this or have any information then please share with police.
"To do so you can contact 101 or DM us your details. Please quote reference 236123U/18. Thank you."
