ENTERTAINMENT: Pemberton Old Wigan DW Band
LEIGH is gearing up for its annual heritage day.
A vintage car rally, Pemberton Old Wigan DW Brass Band in the Leigh Parish Church, Pegasus military display, parish church tower tours, vestry café refreshments, Leigh Soroptomists, Monument Men, Leigh Neighbours, Leigh Rotary Club vintage bus tours and Wigan Archives and Leigh local studies will be among the attractions.
Cllr Clive Morgan said: “This is a great way to bring the community together, so I urge residents and visitors to come along — you may just find out something you didn’t know before!”
The free event will be held on Civic Square from 10am.
