A BUSINESS school is giving participants the tools to start their own business without capital or funding.
The PopUp Business School is running the course at Claremont Church in St George’s Road, Bolton. It is open to anyone wanting to start their own business and is being run in partnership with local housing association Bolton at Home.
Simon Paine, co-founder and lead presenter, said: “The school is giving local people the tools to change their own world. Our approach is not traditional. We don’t bother with business plans, loans and grants. We know that puts more people off starting than it helps.
“Anyone in Bolton who would like to learn new skills, who has a business idea or a fledgling business can book a place on the course and will take home with them practical advice, training and a clear way forward.”
Over 70 small businesses attended the first week of the event at the church over the first week with new students welcome for the second week of workshops. The course runs until September 14. For details visit popupbusinessschool.co.uk/bolton.
