JINGLE bells might still be months away but the Christmas light switch on planning is well underway.
Bolton's Christmas Lights will take place on November 22 but there is no word yet on who will push the button.
Last year Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness was the guest of honour in Victoria Square.
Afterwards he called the experience a "boyhood dream" come true.
Whoever is chosen this year will also follow in the footsteps of Vernon Kay, Laura and Jason Kenny and Peter Kay.
The lights switch on is usually accompanied by a firework display and bands on the big stage.
Last year the crowds enjoyed the sounds of Slade and Elvis.
