E.ON’s Bolton office at The Parklands has launched a drive to recruit 90 people into customer service and sales roles by the end of the year.

E.ON, one of the UK’s largest energy suppliers, has created more than 300 permanent roles in Bolton since January 2018. It now aims to recruit into the 90 available permanent full time positions. People recruited will undergo a 12-week training programme.

Pam Boyington, head of sales operations and transformation at E.ON, said: “We’re proud to be one of Bolton’s top employers, with 1,000 talented people already based at our Parklands site and another 90 roles now available."

Chris Green, MP for Bolton West, visited the E.ON offices in support of the recruitment drive and said: “It’s vital that companies like E.ON continue to support and invest in our local community by offering employment opportunities for residents like this, so I’m very pleased to support their new local recruitment plans.”

Ms Boyington added: "We’re really keen to hear from anyone who has a passion for delivering excellent customer service and are pleased to have welcomed Chris Green MP to our offices so he can see for himself the great work our existing team are doing every day to help support our existing and new energy and solutions customers.”
