SCENE: An air ambulance was spotted at Great Lever and Farnworth Golf Club yesterday
A GOLFER has died after collapsing on a golf course.
Paramedics were called to Great Lever and Farnworth Golf Club, in Plodder Lane, shortly after 1.30pm on Sunday to reports of a man in his mid-60s having collapsed.
An air ambulance was also spotted at the scene.
The man was taken to hospital where he later died.
