CASTAWAY: Cllr Elaine Sherrington
THE Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Elaine Sherrington, will be swapping the town hall for a tropical island on Friday.
Cllr Sherrington has been invited by Bolton FM to take part in its version of Desert Island Discs.
The radio station’s chairman, Andrew Dickson, will be inviting her to choose three records, a book and a luxury item to help her survive.
He will also be asking her about her life's journey to become the town’s first citizen.
