A MAN has been taken to hospital after a bus crashed in Bolton last night.
Emergency services were called to the incident, involving a bus and a car, at the junction of Fletcher Street and Lever Street at about 9pm.
The driver of the single decker bus, which was not in service, was unharmed, however, the driver of the car suffered injuries to his lower back and bruising of the ribs.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Royal Bolton Hospital for further inspection.
The crash resulted in the bus's windscreen falling out, while it also sustained damage to its front bumper. The car sustained damage to the driver's side.
Police and a crew from Bolton Central Fire Station also attended the scene.
