A HALLIWELL community centre is re-opening after a £250,000 refurbishment.
Before the official launch next month, the public were granted to a sneak preview of the transformation of St Paul’s Community Centre.
The work was made possible thanks to a grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
More than 200 people visited on Friday and were impressed by the improvements, which included making the centre completely accessible to all.
The official launch of the centre, which is home to many groups and organisations, will be held on October 18 at 7pm.There will also be a Family Fun Day on November 24.
