Bolton Pride Festival, Friday September 21 until Sunday September 23, town centre

Bolton will promote and support the LGBTQ+ community. This aims to reflect, celebrate and educate. The event will take place in Victoria Square. Across the three days there will be a night of reflection, a pride party, a rainbow lighting of the town hall as well as guest speakers and live entertainment featuring Gareth gates performing in Victoria Square at 4.30pm on Saturday. Pride, which attracted more than 1,500 visitors last year, starts tonight with the lighting up of the rainbow flag over the Town Hall.

Crafty Vintage Experience

If you want to socialise, share ideas or even just gather inspiration for your own crafty projects, take a trip to The Last Drop Village in Bolton this Sunday September 23. There will be; collectables, retro wines, quirky handmade goods, fine foods and delectable cuisine all made or created by smaller independent sellers In addition to the market, there will also be live music, showcases, entertainment and so much more. The event will run from 11am until 4pm. Go along and get yourself a handmade bargain

Ploughing competition

It is the annual Ploughing competition this Sunday at Brinsop Hall Farm, Brinsop Hall Lane, Westhoughton BL5 3NP Experienced ploughers and amateurs are welcome to enter at a cost of £10, with all proceeds from the day will going to Bolton Mountain Rescue. Each competitor will have a marked plot in which they will have to plough that piece of land as neat at they can, with a final championship competition to crown the overall champion.

Ladies Night

Oh yes, its ladies night… Gather up a group of female friends and enjoy an unforgettable night of hunky butlers, exotic dancers and drag queens. Tickets cost £19.95 which includes a two-course meal, live entertainment and a disco. Hosting the event is the Holiday Inn, Bolton Centre, from 7.30pm until 12.30am. Oh, what a night!

Dance music through the decades.

Dust off your dancing shoes for this night filled with old school club classic tunes and fun. This Friday 28th September The Village Hotel in Bury are hosting an event in honour of rave and dance music throughout the decades. The night will begin at 7pm and run until 1am. Last entry is 8pm and you must be aged over 18 years old to attend.
