FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a blazing vehicle in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The transit van was on Crompton Street and the driver was absent from the scene, prompting the belief it was a case of arson.
Bolton North Fire Station crew manager, Andrew Kopicki, said: "We were mobilised to an incident involving a vehicle engulfed in fire.
"One fire engine and four firefighters attended the scene and spent approximately 40 minutes there."
