BEER enthusiasts are in for a treat as a popular ale event returns to town.
Bolton Beer Festival will hit its 25th birthday this year, and the gathering continues to raise money for Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
Running from Thursday 18th October – Saturday 20th October, the festival will once again be hosted at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Clive Nightingale, founder of the event, said: "It is great to see the festival go from strength to strength after it started all those years ago. It is the biggest social event in the Bolton calendar. It is fantastic craic, and we have hundreds of different beers which people can try. Everyone can come down and enjoy themselves and at the same time raise lots of money for a good cause."
This year's festival includes more than 200 real ales, lagers, ciders, Gin, Wine and Prosecco, as well as live music.
