THE family of a man who died in a city centre hotel room has paid tribute to him.
Thomas Noakes, aged 29, was found in the Britannia Hotel in Portland Street on Wednesday.
A murder investigation was launched into his death.
Mr Noakes' family said: "Thomas was a fantastic, amazing, loveable man who made us all laugh and was always the life and soul of the party.
“He was a much loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend."
Police responded to an incident at the hotel at 5.30am where Mr Noakes was found dead and another man had fallen from the hotel and was dead at the scene.
He has been identified as 21-year-old Hayden Fitzpatrick, there are not believed to be suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
