Chill at the Cowshed, Winter Hey Lane, Horwich
More than 100 people have raved about Chill at the Cowshed giving it a full five star rating on Tripadvisor.
One reviewer posted: "This is a fantastic place to enjoy a hot or cold drink with a nice cake.
"They also have superb ice cream sundaes which are very good value for money if you would like a special treat."
Chill began in 2014 when the owners ripped out an old butchers shop to create the cafe.
Now they are famed for their afternoon teas and more than 40 rotating flavours of luxury dairy ice cream.
The event barn at Chill is also a perfect spot for an intimate special gathering. The venue has a maximum capacity of 50 people and is suitable for wedding receptions, hen do’s, baby showers and more.
Cube Desserts, Halliwell Road, Bolton
Milkshakes, donuts, waffles, sundaes and much more. Cube is a dessert lovers paradise.
The Waffling Waffles are a real treat with everything from Nutella, Ferrero Rocher and Hersey's chocolate toppings.
There are traditional treats like carrot cake and red velvet cake.

Garden Shed Ice Cream Parlour, Arthur Lane, Ainsworth
Found at Arthur Lane Nurseries, this ice cream parlour and tea room is well worth a visit.
