Here are five great things to do around town this weekend...

Tehran Taboo

Part of the Manchester Animation Festival of 2017, Tehran Taboo is a Persian language film with English subtitles.

The film focuses on the city of Tehran, a city full of restrictions and religious laws where any type of crime can lead to draconic punishment.

Three women from different backgrounds and a young musician will cross paths.

This humanist film explores the contradictions of the system and its consequences with tenderness and humour.
