A NINE-year-old boy reported missing last night is believed to have been found seriously injured after he fell through an old factory roof.

The family and friends of Leon Langford had reported his disappearance yesterday after he failed to return home after playing out with friends at the Ivy Street playground, in Blackburn.

But Lancashire Police have confirmed a boy matching his description has been found in the grounds of an old factory in the Infirmary area of the town, this morning.

He is thought to have fallen through the roof of a building there and he is currently being treated by paramedics.

An air ambulance is understood to be en-route to the scene.

The boy's parents, Adele and Dave Langford, were among the dozens searching for the youngster after his friends returned home without him.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said the boy was in a serious condition.
