A TOWN centre barbers was hit by a vandal who smashed the front window this afternoon.
The man reportedly used an object to hit the glass front of the Scissor Art Hair Salon, on Great Moor Street, breaking a layer of glazing.
It happened at around 5pm and police arrived shortly afterwards.
One person reported seeing officers detain a man and put him in the back of a police car.
It is not believed to be a targeted attack and nobody was hurt during the incident.
