BOLTON Premier Amateur Operatic Society spread a little happiness with their production of Mr Cinders in 1992.
The feel good musical, a take on the popular Cinderella story, took to the stage at Bolton Little Theatre in March.
In the story, Mr Cinders, is a menial and Prince Charming is a strong young woman and the glass slipper is replaced by a hat.
The musical features scores including I've Got You, Honeymoon For Four and Spread a Little Happiness.
Mr Cinders was originally staged at the Opera House Theatre, Blackpool in 1928 for two weeks, and toured through Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, Bradford, and Glasgow until January 1929. It opened in London at the Adelphi Theatre in 1929.
