DOZENS of candles will be lit as part of a memorial gathering to remember babies who have died.
Staff from the Royal Bolton Hospital have invited families to attend a 'Wave of Light' event on Monday night.
Visitors will light a candle in remembrance of precious babies in the hospital's Baby Memorial Garden.
The gathering has been organised as part of the annual Baby Loss Awareness Week, which each year ends on October 15 with a global Wave of Light.
Visitors should arrive at the garden from 6.45pm, in time to light candles at 7pm. These will then be left to burn for at least one hour.
Families who are unable to attend in person are encouraged to join a digital Wave of Light at 7pm, by taking a photo of their candle and sharing it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #WaveOfLight.
