POLICE have released images of four men they want to speak to in connection to a 'brutal and unprovoked attack' outside a Bolton takeaway.

At around 2.20am on Sunday, August 12, a 21-year-old man was stood outside Allen’s Fried Chicken on Bradshawgate.

An unknown man approached him and for no reason punched him in the face - knocking him unconscious - before running away.

The incident left the victim with a fractured cheekbone.

Police believe the attacker was with a group of three other men at the time, and are now appealing for help from the public to trace them down.

Detective Constable Faye Meadows, from GMP’s Bolton CID, said: “This was a brutal and unprovoked attack on a young man.

“His attacker left him lying unconscious on the floor outside and we need to find him.

“We are desperate to speak to the four men pictured. If you recognise them, please get in touch.

“I would also urge anyone with any information about this incident to contact us.”
