MORE than 50 jobs are being created after an organisation won new contracts from Bolton Council and the local health board.

Bolton-based Bridgewater Home Care provides home care for some of the most vulnerable adults in the community and specialises in the care of those living with a form of dementia.

And now due to the high demand for its services, the organisation is looking to expand their care team by at least 50 people over the next few months.

The demand for home care services is set to rise by 30 per cent in the borough.

Founder of Bridgewater Home Care, Phil Eckersley, added: "Iā€™m extremely pleased that the company has grown so rapidly and has such a demand the services we provide. We are looking for people with empathy and nurturing capabilities whose roles will ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality care to vulnerable people in our community.

"I am also delighted to announce the creation of over 50 new local jobs.

"Caring for the elderly has never been a more important issue. It has also resulted in a significant period of change and growth in social care which is leading to a broader range of improved job opportunities in the sector."

He added: "We are looking forward to talking to kind, compassionate and like-minded individuals of all ages and from all walks of life. Training is provided so professional caring experience is not essential, so long as individuals have a real passion for helping others and caring for people in their local community.ā€

And the company says it employees are in good hands given the company won the Best Employer in Care Award, with a 98 per cent employee satisfaction, and Employer of the Year 2017.
