HEALTH campaigners were in Bolton town centre yesterday trying to persuade people to get their winter flu jabs.
Members of Bolton Clinical Commissioning Group handed out leaflets to shoppers and office workers addressing misconceptions about the illness.
The flu vaccination is available now, free of charge, for children aged two to nine, pregnant women, people aged 65 and over and anyone with a long-term health condition.
The vaccine is available from GPs and children are entitled to a free nasal flu vaccination.
