A GROUP of 40 colleagues from energy supplier E.ON took part in a terrifying midnight trek up Snowdon for Alzheimer’s Society.
The group raised £25,000 between them for the nine-mile hike, where they reached the 3,560 foot summit before turning around and reaching the bottom again after just six hours.
Alzheimer’s Society was chosen by employees to become E.ON’s official charity in 2016, since which £180,000 has been donated and almost half of E.ON’s employees have become Dementia Friends, including some in Bolton.
