tea dance
MORE than 40 local pensioners enjoyed a sing-song when a tea dance was held at St Catherine's Hall in Highfield Road, Farnworth in November, 1981. The senior citizens were guests of the Highfield Hall Community Association, which organised the event. The organisation was trying to involve everyone in its organisation ahead of the opening of a new headquarters at Highfield Hall Farm in March 1982.
