TWO Bolton students beat off 350 entries from nine schools across the North West to see their artwork featured on a 31ft Logistics truck.
Grace Higginson, 13, and Rachael Duddle, 15, from Turton School entered the Transform My Truck competition which asked students to design artwork showing different ways of getting goods from A to B.
Grace was the overall winner in the age 12 to 16 category with her design of a cargo ship, aeroplane, lorry and train which will be put on the side of a Transport Training Academy truck, with Rachael’s design on the back doors.
The girls also received Amazon vouchers and a £500 grant for the school for claiming first and third place in their age categories.
The redesigned truck will be unveiled at Transport Training Academy’s Atherton base on Monday November 12th at 10am with Grace and Raechel there as guests of honour.
