A TALENTED teenager has danced his way to the opportunity of a lifetime, winning a full scholarship to train in America.

15-year-old Jaiden Sayer was the winner of the Bolton’s Got Talent hosted by Peter Kay last December.

He wowed the judges with a dance routine to Michael Bublé’s Cry Me A River.

Following his win, Jaiden, from Westhoughton, performed as Billy Elliot at London Sadler’s Wells Theatre and Blackpool Opera House with Bolton’s Got Talent runners-up Theatre Works.

His success continued when in February he was chosen out of thousands of people across the UK to perform in the Talent Inc. Showcase on board the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Independence of the Seas.

Before he set sail, Jaiden, who has been dancing for four years, was trained in catwalk, acting, and improvisation to help mould him into an all-round performer before boarding the ship in late October.

Jaiden also perfected a Halloween dance routine portraying the Joker from Suicide Squad.

Jaiden sailed around France and Belgium performing to cruise-goers and talent agents who scored each performance.

Jaiden’s mum, Linzi, revealed that several of the agents are now keen to sign the Bolton performer.

On the final night of the cruise it was announced that Jaiden had the highest score, winning the full scholarship to train in Orlando, Florida with Talent Inc.

Linzi described the moment she found out her son had won, saying she was shocked and “burst into tears”.

She said: “I’m so proud of him, his hard work and dedication has really paid off.”

Linzi also said that Jaiden couldn’t believe he was the overall winner, but is “very excited” about jetting off to America in August next year.
