UNBEATEN Radcliffe Old Boys A increased their lead at the top of the BSF Over-35s Division One with a resounding 5-0 home victory over bottom side Salford Waggon.

Martin Browne scored a brace as Paul Murray, Carl Lomax and Daz Buckley added one apiece.

However, they have played more matches than the teams below them.

Barhill are also unbeaten and have two games in hand.

Radcliffe Vets A, in fourth place, dropped points when they drew 4-4 at Queen Lizzy. Gaz Humphreys (two), Danny Adamson and Andy Rhodes scored the Radcliffe goals.

The top three teams in Division Two are unbeaten but have all drawn matches. However, leaders Horwich St Mary’s and second-placed Old Bolts both had 5-1 away wins on Sunday.

Radcliffe Old Boys B lead Division Three following an away win at Lever Arms with Andy Hall scoring the only goal.

Second-placed Tavern Vets kept up the pressure with a 4-2 win away at bottom side Radcliffe Vets B for whom Barry Davis and Adam Greenhalgh were on target.

Jack Coogan, Colin Hatfield and Ian Teasdale strikes won the game for Tavern.

Bolton Wyresdale, in third place, are a point below Tavern but have two games in hand and beat Gidlow Athletic 2-0 thanks to Jason Knowles and Paul Gibson.

Heaton Casuals lead Division Four on goal difference, but have played a game more than Ainsworth whose game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Heaton have been scoring freely, but suffered their first defeat of the season at third-placed Atherton Town despite Chris Sutcliffe and Alex Blackwell scoring.

Atherton kept them in check and Martin Jordan, Pete Carson and Ste Anderson won the match for the home side.

A change of name was not enough to give Tottington United Veterans success at home to PF Bury despite Noel Worsley and Angelo Texeira (two) scoring.

A Noel Coleman hat-trick and a Paul Holly goal moved PF Bury above Wigan Town whose game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Ainsworth.
