POLICE have released a warning after reports of man pretending to be a medical professional to get into people's homes.
Officers in Walkden say they have received information about the male, who has been telling people he is a podiatrist, despite having no license or other official documentation.
Victims of the fraudster had let him into their homes, only to discover later that a theft had occurred while the man was visiting.
Police say elderly people are a particular target due to the kind of service being offered.
