A CHANCE introduction to colour and style consultants, House of Colour, added much needed colour into Emma Taylor’s otherwise grey, navy and black corporate wear.

Now she has gone on to owning her own business as as a confident colour and style consultant, motivating and changing the lives of clients in the area.

Emma said: “I had my colours done having seen the benefits of this from one of my work colleagues.

“I took my mum along and we did it together as a treat.

“We also had our styles analysed and the knowledge we came away with has changed our whole approach to how we see ourselves, how we shop and how we look.

“The classes opened my eyes to learning about myself and how image encompasses so much more than the clothes we wear.

“The skills I learnt allowed me to dress better in my role and to save both money and time.

“Fast forward a short while and I decided that I wanted to offer this service to others.

“My business was born.”

Emma said: “I am incredibly excited to be working as a colour and style consultant because I love spreading the joy of colour and showing clients the colours and styles that can make them look and feel amazing.

“It really is life changing and to share in the journey is very special.”

House of Colour managing director, Helen Venables said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Emma to our team as a colour and style consultant.

“I know that she is going to make a huge difference to the lives of her clients in the area.”

Emma is one of a network of consultants with House of Colour, offering colour analysis, personal styling and image consultancy across the UK.

“ Through colour analysis techniques, the pigments underneath a client’s skin can be defined to determine which colours make their skin look brighter and their complexion healthier, rather than draining them.

“Building on colour analysis, clients can then experience personal styling with Emma including style classes, capsule wardrobe building and shopping trips.”
