A SPECIAL pink afternoon tea was held at Farnworth Town Hall to raise money for research into breast cancer.
More than £500 was raised at the event, attended by Mayor of Bolton Cllr Elaine Sherrington.
A room was decorated with pink balloons and tables of sweet and savoury food were laid out and included a special cake for workers to tuck into in return for a donation.
The event was organised to coincide with Breast Care Cancer Awareness Month, during which pink afternoon teas were held up and down the country.
