YOUNG citizens put democracy into action as part of their learning of the Houses of Parliament.
Pupils at St Peter and St Paul's RC Primary School voted about school issues, including on the theme for the new reading shed.
Reception pupils voted for their favourite book and the Year Three Class spoke about being Prime Minister. MP Yasmin Qureshi staged a Question Time with children. Children also took part in debates.
Deputy Head teacher Louise Bates has said: "The children have learnt so much about Parliament and issues that involve them all”
