A person was cut free from their car following an accident on the A13 roundabout. 

A crash happened on the roundabout joining the A13 and the M25, near to junction 30, shortly after 4pm. 

The roundabout was partially blocked with delays on all approaches.

The Northeast side of the roundabout was blocked by emergency services attending to a collision forcing traffic on to the A13 eastbound.

Fire crews attended after one person was trapped in their car. 

Firefighters cut the roof off the car to release the person.

A spokesman for the fire service said: "Crews were called to a road traffic collision involving one car and one lorry at junction 30 of the M25. 

"On arrival firefighters reported that one person was trapped in the car. 

"Crews worked to remove the roof from the car and release the casualty by 4.30pm. 

"The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service."
