THERE will plenty of shocks in store as the new Circus of Horrors show comes to the Albert Halls on Sunday.

After taking to the road over 22 years ago and touring all over the world, the phenomenon returns with its latest brand new incarnation ‘The Psycho Asylum’.

The show stars Viktor Kochkin, billed as possibly the world’s greatest circus performer, alongside an amalgamation of bizarre and fantastic circus acts all woven into a sensational shock and horror story.

Viktor was born with virtually no legs, he was however determined to not let his disability get in his way of becoming a circus performer and used his incredible upper body strength to teach himself amazing acrobatics to achieve his goal.

He was spotted performing with an acrobatic troupe in Russia by Circus of Horrors supremo Dr Haze who for two years has been attempting to bring Viktor to the UK.

Dr Haze said:"I knew Viktor would be a big hit but he has exceeded all expectations and I am proud that he has chosen the Circus of Horrors for his debut outside of Russia. It’s a truly victorious story of someone overcoming what life has thrown at them, beating it and setting a great example to prove what can be achieved if you set your mind to it."

The spectacular show also features the darkest of magic — taking the show to a whole new level.

Annually the Circus of Horrors plays over 100 UK theatres and this tour has expanded to take in festivals throughout the world and it became the first UK circus ever to perform in Russia.

The show was also the first to reach the finals of Britain’s Got Talent, played ten nights at London’s O2 and was the first to perform in London’s West End for over 100 years.

The Circus of Horrors started its gruesome beginnings at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival and became an instant hit, touring all over the world from Chile to Chatham, Argentina to Aberdeen, Japan to Jersey including festival appearances with Alice Cooper, Ermine, Motley Cure, Oasis, Iron Maiden, The Manic St Preachers, Foo Fighters, Guns & Roses, Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne and many more.

It has brought unique performers to the UK and beyond for many years, including one of the world’s smallest men, the man with the stretchiest skin in the world, world record holding sword swallowers and hair hangers and even a Mexican wolf boy.

The Circus of Horrors is stopping off in Bolton as part of a UK tour.
