YOUNG people were left inspired by a flying visit from an RAF Sergeant.
Sergeant Sophie Hobson dropped-by St Peter's CE Primary School in Farnworth, where pupils are learning about real life heroes.
The avionics technician spoke to pupils about her role and achievements, as well as her medals.
At the end of the session Sergeant Hobson shared a video with the children of her performing with the Spitfire Choir on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as a tribute to women in the forces.
