The award winning CATS Youth Theatre have brought the toe-tapping show to Bolton.

The show, set in a 1960s nightclub tells the story of the antics of a group of young people on a typical night out in that era.

Whilst the songs are original, the introductions lead you into a false sense of security as you think you recognise the tune to be a 60s classic, but thanks to the clever writing of the authors, that is not the case.

Director, Louise Cohen said: "The cast have been busy ensuring they get their hair and make up just right but having a session on hairdressing by Harry, late of Cabello's hairdressers on Wigan Road.

"The society have produced this production in the past and agree that it a feel good factor show that always goes down well with the audience and they are confident that this production will be no different.

"Em Cohen choreographs and with stage construction by Alan Dodd and Simon White, the stage is set for a cracker of a show."

There is still time to catch the show tonight and tomorrow at Bolton St Catherine's Academy.

Tickets are priced £10 and for more information ring 01204 659199.
