FRESH from their gig in the legendary Cavern Club, Bolton band Jade Assembly will be back in Liverpool to perform as part of an evening celebrating one of the most important names of the British music industry of the last 30 years.

The indie rockers will be taking to the stage at the British Music Experience in An Evening with Alan McGee, who has worked with some of the most significant bands of the last 30 years including Oasis, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, the Jesus and Mary Chain and The Libertines and is the man behind Creation Records.

Jade Assembly were chosen as the only band to perform on the night after they were introduced to the musical genius through BBC radio presenter Rob Fiddaman after appearing on his show to promote their song Nothing Changes.

Mick Watson, manager of Jade Assembly, said: "The band has a huge fan base in Liverpool and hopefully this will help give the band the exposure they need.

"The band has been going a long time and has a huge following. Their concerts always sell out and I do think 2019 will be the band's year."

Alan recently launched his new record label Creation 23 because he says he ‘wants to put out records again’.

The evening will focus the Creation years and will begin with an exclusive screening of the re-edited version of Upside Down: The Creation Records Story,

The evening starts at 7pm, Jade Assembly will be performing an acoustic set during the interval at 8pm for 40 minutes. There will be a question and answer with Alan McGee at 8.30pm.
