SCENE: De Havilland Way, in Horwich
A MAJOR road was closed this evening following a three-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the incident, involving two cars and a white van, in De Havilland Way, in Horwich, at about 7pm.
The road was shut close to the roundabout outside the University of Bolton Stadium while firefighters made the vehicles safe.
No one was injured in the crash, although two drivers were checked over by paramedics at the scene.
The vehicles were later recovered and the road reopened at about 8pm.
