VICTORIA BLAUT has been kickboxing since she was only five-years-old, Four years down the line all her hard work is paying off.
Now aged 9, Victoria is a medal powerhouse and has won five golds in just six months.
Victoria recently changed clubs and is now training with the North West Warriors, under Sensei Paul Smith. Since then she has travelled across the country and even overseas to take part in international competitions.
In her trophy cabinet sits golds from the Bristol Open, the G-Force Internationals and the WKC World Championships held in Dublin, to name a few. All of which were brought home for the club this year.
The young kickboxing prodigy was also chosen to represent England in the sport this year, scooping a bronze on the day.
Her most recent achievement was only weeks ago, when she qualified for the IKSA British Championships in 2019.
Victoria trains every day, as well as helping with the younger children learn the martial art. But the St Catherine’s Primary School student still exceeds at her studies, getting top grades when she’s not practicing at the club.
Her family says her success is down to her determination.
Her sister Patrycja revealed that Victoria’s interest in starting kickboxing was completely spontaneous and she had now plan to keep it up long-term. Becoming a professional kickboxer is now Victoria’s hope for the future. Patrycja said: “She wants to be world champion, she wants to open her own club.”
