AN UNINSURED driver who was involved in a serious crash with a motorbike has been jailed.

Nicholas Power was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen to police after the incident, as well as driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance and not being in possession of a valid driving licence.

The 30-year-old, from Wilbraham Road, Walkden, was also found guilty of possession of Class A drugs.

It relates to an incident on July 22, in which Power's vehicle was involved in a crash with a motorbike on Rydal Crescent, Walkden.

He was handed a two-year driving ban and will also be subject to a court-enforced curfew.
