WITH Brexit fast approaching, readers of The Bolton News will have the opportunity to ask Secretary of State Stephen Barclay questions what it means for the borough.
Mr Barclay, who took the top job at the Department for Exiting the EU following a series of cabinet resignations, will be answering 10 questions, responding to local concerns about Brexit.
Two years ago, Bolton voted to leave the EU with a majority of 58.3 per cent, higher than the national result of 51.9 per cent.
EU leaders have now signed a withdrawal agreement which members of parliament will have to approve before it takes effect.
Mr Barclay said: "Brexit is a huge issue for this country. We're approaching a key moment in this process, where MPs will soon get to vote on the Prime Minister's deal - a deal that delivers on the results of the referendum.
"I'm keen to answer questions from The Bolton News' readers about what this means for them and for Bolton."
Send your questions to joseph.timan@nqnw.co.uk by Monday, December 3.
Answers will appear on The Bolton News website next week.
